My Goals and Aspirations
"It's not hard to decide what you want your life to be about. What's hard, is figuring out what you're willing to give up in order to do the things you really care about.”
― Shauna Niequist, Bittersweet: Thoughts on Change, Grace, and Learning the Hard Way
To me, aspirations are not that hard to come about. What's hard, is the willingness to commit and forgo the other important things in order to achieve my goals. I hope that I am able to excel in my academics and at the same time pursue my interest.

Short Terms Goals
During my 2 years stay in HCi, I want to manage my time well so that I am able to take on programmes that are not included in the core curriculum. I hope that this journey in HCi will be an enriching one.
Therefore, my short term goals are:
-
To ace all my subjects in A-levels by the end of this 2 years
-
To take up a H3 Biology-related subject in JC2
-
To read up on more about neurology
-
To be more responsible and independent in my own learning
-
To learn to forge close ties with other people
-
To be a better follower
-
To pick up a new art & craft skill
Long Term Goals
After JC, I would like to continue my studies in renown universities. I hope to gain exposure to the world around me and grow to become a person who is mature in thoughts and actions. As I do not come from a wealthy family, I will work very hard to attain a scholarship so as to lift the burden of my parents paying for my university fees.
Eventually, I hope to pursue a Biology-related career, and inspire more people to love Biology.
Therefore, my long term goals are:
-
Pursue Biology-related courses in university (eg. molecular biology)
-
Obtain a full scholarship to study in university
-
Obtain a PhD in Biology-related course
-
To continue joining a symphonic/concert band even after I graduate from HCI
-
To continue playing the piano
-
Pursue a Biology-related career in the future
-
To learn a new language
